Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@gundogarmory.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Yes. Home-based FFLs (often called "kitchen-table" FFLs) are the most common type of license in the country. As long as your location meets local zoning rules and you have genuine business intent, you can run a licensed firearms business from home. We help you make sure you qualify and stay compliant.

Most applicants are open for business in about three to six months, depending on ATF workload and how clean your application is. A complete, accurate application is the single biggest factor in moving fast — which is exactly what we help you submit.

The ATF fee for a standard dealer license (Type 01) is currently $200 for the first three years, then about $90 to renew every three years. That's the government fee. Our program is a separate professional service — book a call and we'll walk you through it.

Only if you want to deal in NFA items like suppressors and short-barreled rifles. Becoming an SOT is an annual tax registration (commonly $500/year for smaller dealers). We'll help you decide whether it's worth it for your goals and set it up if so.

Not necessarily — you can apply as a sole proprietor — but you do need genuine business intent. We'll help you choose the right structure for your situation.

We're based in Central Florida, but we work with aspiring dealers across the country. Give us a call.

That's exactly what the free consultation is for. We'll confirm you qualify before you spend money on anything.
